US rock band Kings Of Leon have scored an impressive UK chart double this week.
‘Sex On Fire’ notches up a third week on top of the singles chart, while parent disc Only By The Night debuts at number one on the albums chart.
The last act to top both charts simultaneously was Coldplay, who scored the first double of their career in June.
Elsewhere on the UK singles chart, Katy Perry remains at two with ‘I Kissed A Girl’, while Rihanna’s ‘Disturbia’ climbs to a new peak of three.
The highest new entries of the week come from James Morrison, who lands at seven with ‘You Give Me Something’, and Sugababes, who debut at eight with ‘Girls’, notching up their 15th top ten hit.
Meanwhile, Faith Hill’s ‘There You’ll Be’ re-enters the chart at ten after featuring on last week’s episode of The X Factor. The track originally peaked at number three in 2001.
