UK Charts 17.08.08

Katy Perry makes 2 weeks at the top for the UK Singles Charts while The Script manages to debut their album at #1 in the albums chart.

“I Kissed A Girl” spends its second week at the top of the UK singles charts while Kid Rock stays at 2 with “All Summer Long”

Aside from getting their album at the top, The Script managed to get back on #3 with “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” which upped by 1. 

The Verve is getting onto the upper part of the top 10 as the group rose to #4 from #5 debut last week while Dizzee Rascal descends to #5 this week.

Rihanna climbs to #6 with “Disturbia” while Madcon appeared for the first time in the UK Singles Charts with their hit “Beggin'” which debuts at #7.

  4. I have to admit Katy Perry is my latest guilty pleasure. (Considering my staple is Punk/Hardcore.) Yes, she is a pop princess, but she has just enough snark and sarcasm to keep me interested. Plus she is undeniably catchy!
